EIN Plus, LLC DBA GovPlus (“GovPlus,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our application, websites, and related services (collectively, our “Services”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and disclose information from users of our Services (“Users”). By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Service (here).

We may collect a variety of information from or about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.
Registration and Profile Information. When you sign up for an account or submit an application, and depending on which of our Services you request, we may ask you for your name, date and place of birth, address, phone number, social security number, alien registration number, tax identification number, citizenship or visa status, information about your family members, driver’s license number, medical identification numbers, bank account information, credit card information, structure or type of your business or organization, business address, reasons for application, employee information, and other information necessary to process your application or provide you fraud and identity theft prevention services.
Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you, such as your name, email address, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide. When you communicate with us online, third-party vendors receive and store these communications on our behalf. When we send you emails, we may use embedded pixels or other technologies to track information about your receipt and interaction with our emails, such as whether and when you open them, whether you access any links included in our emails, and your Location Information (described below), to learn how to deliver a better customer experience and improve our Services.
Payment Information. If you make a purchase through our Services, your payment-related information, such as credit card or other financial information, is collected by our third-party payment processor on our behalf.
Documents and Images. We receive information about the documents, photo images, and content you upload, such as relevant documents related to your government applications.
Location Information. When you use our Services, we infer your location information by using your IP address.
Device Information. We receive information about the device and software you use to access our Services, including IP address, web browser type and version, and operating system version.
Usage Information. We automatically receive information about your interactions with our Services, like the pages or other content you view, referrer information (the website you visited before coming to our Services), the dates and times of your visits, mouse movements, keystroke patterns, purchases you make, and any content you post.
Information from Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. We and our third-party partners collect information about your activities on our Services using cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, SDKs, or other tracking technologies. Our third-party partners, such as analytics, advertising, and security partners, may also use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different services.
Information from Third-Party Services. When you use our Services to where there is an integrated third-party service provider, we may receive information about you, including information you consent to send us about the services the third-party provided to you. If you wish to limit the information available to us, you should visit the privacy settings of your third-party accounts to learn about your options.
The purpose of our Services is to help you disclose your information to various government agencies and other entities at your direction. For example, we may disclose your information to the Internal Revenue Service to help you file your taxes, and to other entities to help you obtain government services. Accordingly, we disclose information to applicable government agencies or vendors at your request when you use our Services.

Affiliates. We may disclose any information we receive to our current or future affiliates for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Vendors and Service Providers. We may disclose any information we receive to vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of our Services.
Analytics Partners. We use analytics services such as Google Analytics to collect and process certain analytics data. You can learn more about Google’s practices by visiting https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
Advertising Partners. We work with third-party advertising partners to collect and process your information in order to show you ads that we think may interest you. Some of our advertising partners are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (https://optout.networkadvertising.org) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info) and serve ads through cookie-based technologies. Please visit their opt-out pages to learn about how you may opt out of receiving certain web-based personalized ads from member companies. These opt-outs will apply only to our third-party advertising partners that are members of these organizations. These opt-outs will not apply when our partners serve ads through non-cookie based technologies.
As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: (a) comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (b) respond to your requests; or (c) protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety. For the avoidance of doubt, the disclosure of your information may occur if you post any objectionable content on or through the Services.
Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. We may transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets. Consent. We may also disclose your information with your permission.
Application Sharing Preferences. It is your responsibility for maintaining the accuracy of your application. You may update, correct, or delete information about you at any time by emailing contact@govplus.com.
Text Messages. If you wish to opt out of marketing text (SMS) messages from GovPlus, you can email contact@govplus.com or text the word “STOP” to the number from which you are receiving the messages. If you wish to opt out of all text messages from GovPlus, you can email contact@govplus.com or text the word “STOP” to the number from which you are receiving the messages, however you acknowledge that opting out of receiving all messages may impact your use of the service. You may continue to receive text messages for a short period while we process your request, including a message confirming the receipt of your opt-out request.
Marketing Communications. You can unsubscribe from our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails. Even if you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us.
We take measures to delete your information or keep it in a form that does not permit identifying you when this information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it, unless we are required by law to keep this information for a longer period. When determining the retention period, we take into account various criteria, such as the type of products and services requested by or provided to you, the nature and length of our relationship with you, the impact on the Services we provide to you if we delete some information from or about you, mandatory retention periods provided by law, and any relevant statute of limitations.
Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.
We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, because no electronic transmission or storage of information can be entirely secure, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information.
We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 18 years of age, and no part of our Service(s) is directed to children. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, then you may alert us at privacy@govplus.com.
If you are a resident of Colorado, New Jersey, or Texas, you may exercise your rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the New Jersey Data Privacy Law (effective January 15, 2025) (the “U.S. State Privacy Laws”). Personal Information means the categories of information identified in the “Information We Collect” section of this Privacy Policy.

If you are a resident of Colorado, New Jersey, or Texas, you may exercise the following rights by submitting a request through one of the methods for submitting requests under the “Exercising Your U.S. State Privacy Rights” section below. Submitting Requests. You can submit an access, correction, deletion, and/or appeal request by reaching out via our customer assistant or sending an email to contact@govplus.com.
You can exercise your right to opt out of the processing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising by adjusting your cookie settings. You will be prompted to select your options on our website at www.govplus.com via the banner at the bottom of the screen. You may also update your settings at any time by clicking the cookie icon at the lower left corner of the screen after your first interaction. If you are visiting our website using a web browser with the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal enabled, we will treat the GPC signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and “sales.”
Verification. Requests for access to, deletion, or correction of Personal Information are subject to our ability to verify your identity. If you have a GovPlus account, we will verify your identity by asking you to log into your account. If you do not have an account, we will attempt to verify your identity by asking for information that we may have about you, such as your name, email address, and other information.
Authorizing an Agent. Where permitted by applicable law, you may authorize another person (your “Authorized Agent”) to submit a request on your behalf through the methods described above. Your Authorized Agent should submit proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request. We may still require you to directly verify your identity and directly confirm that you have provided the Authorized Agent permission to submit the request. International Visitors
Our Services are hosted in the United States and intended for visitors located within the United States. If you choose to use the Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the U.S. for storage and processing. We may also transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Services. By providing any information, including personal information, on or to the Services, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.
Update Your Information
You can update your account and profile information or close your account through your profile settings.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this page, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. If we materially change the ways in which we use or disclose personal information previously collected from you through the Services, we will notify you through the Services, by email, or other communication.
