How do I receive my passport?
Your passport and relevant documents may arrive in multiple shipments, depending on the types you requested. For example:
- Passport book or card – Your passport book or card and your citizenship documents may come in two separate mailings within ten days of each other.
- Passport book and passport card – Your documents, card, and book may arrive in three individual mailings. The second and third packages should arrive within ten days of the first.

The cost to apply for a new passport depends on the passport type and your age. The passport fee through the government varies by type and is as follows:

When can I expect my passport?
